Harjit has a wide range of residential conveyancing experience, dealing with all types of residential sales and purchases, acting for individuals who are remortgaging their properties and also handling transfers of equity to lease extensions. Harjit acts for companies in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties and her clients include a freehold company for whom she drafts licences for alterations, licences for underletting and licences to assign. Harjit also has extensive experience in acting for clients purchasing ‘off plan’ properties and selling new build properties under sub-sale agreements.

Background

Harjit studied law at the University of Westminster (2000). She qualified as a solicitor in 2003, and worked for a property firm in East Anglia before joining Clegg Manuel in June 2005.

Personal

Harjit is a keen sports fan and enjoys watching football and Formula 1 racing, as well as watching and playing tennis. Harjit is an enthusiastic cook and likes to experiment in creating haute cuisine from different cultures. She is of Indian origin and is fluent in Punjabi. Harjit is married and lives in London.
