Areas of Practice

Roshonara is the head of Clegg Manuel’s Residential Conveyancing team. Her areas of practice include representing purchasers of off-plan sales and new build properties, dealing with shared ownership schemes, and advising on re-mortgages, transfers of equity, tenancy agreements and securing charges. Her clients include property developers and high street banks. She has also advised and acted for investors in the purchase of hotel rooms.

Background

Roshonara studied law at and the University of London’s School of Oriental Arts and African Studies. She qualified in 2001 and joined Clegg Manuel’s Residential Conveyancing Team in April 2001. Roshonara is originally from Bangladesh and speaks Bengali. She is married and lives in London.

Personal

Roshonara enjoys the performing arts and cinema, especially music from the Indian sub-continent. She has worked in radio as both a co presenter and sound engineer, as well as being a “voice-over” for radio advertisements and jingles. She enjoys fine cuisine, and likes to watch films and play badminton in her spare time.
